Later in the day, you’ll continue to Fitzroy Crossing, arriving in the late afternoon to check in at the Fitzroy River Lodge for a well-deserved rest.

Enjoy a relaxing 90-minute gorge cruise, where you can feed the cheeky Archerfish before returning to Emma Gorge Resort via the station township.
After lunch, set off on a guided walk to the spectacular Emma Gorge waterfall (2.5 hours return – a good level of fitness is required, but the reward is well worth it). Take a refreshing swim in the large rock pool at the base of the falls and marvel at the breathtaking beauty of the gorge, considered one of the Kimberley’s finest.
Upon your return to the resort, the rest of the afternoon is yours to relax and unwind before regrouping for dinner.

Cross the mighty Pentecost River and pass Ellenbrae Station as we make our way to the ‘Y’ junction. From here, we follow the Kalumburu Road to Drysdale River Station, a working cattle station that runs 9,000 head of cattle across over a million acres.
Tonight, you’ll settle into comfortable station cabins with private ensuite bathrooms, ready for a restful evening in this remote outback setting.
