Welcome to Tasmania. On arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Launceston. Enjoy a picturesque journey following the curves of the Tamar River on your way to today’s Insider Experiences. Back at your hotel this evening, enjoy a Welcome Dinner.

Port Arthur

This morning, travel south to Richmond, home to the historic Richmond Bridge. Built by convicts in the 1820s, it is Australia's oldest bridge. On the way to Port Arthur, see how nature and time have created spectacular rock formations such as the Tessellated Pavement and Tasman Arch. At Port Arthur Historic Site, join a cruise around the Isle of the Dead and hear haunting stories about the convicts buried there. Later, travel to Hobart.
