Touch down in Darwin and travel to Litchfield National Park, a huge sandstone plateau with cascading waterfalls. Swim in the natural pool at Wangi Falls, view the double waterfall that is Florence Falls, and paddle in the popular swimming spot of Buley Rockhole. If you prefer to stay dry, opt to stretch your legs on a number of short walking trails. This afternoon, continue to Katherine where you will enjoy dinner at your hotel.

Hit the road this morning for the next leg of your journey. En route to Lorella Springs, travel via Roper Bar, a historic settlement along the Roper River, and make a stop at Butterfly Falls. Located in Limmen National Park, this stunning cascade is a great spot for a cooling swim during the wetter months. Continue to the Southern Lost City where you can enjoy a scenic walk among some remarkable rock formations. Later this afternoon, arrive at Lorella Springs. This untouched wilderness park features natural swimming holes, hot and cold springs, billabongs, native bird watching, unique rock formations and plenty of coastline to explore.

This morning, rejuvenate your senses with a refreshing swim at one of Lorrella many swimming holes and explore the nearby natural springs before returning to camp to enjoy traditional Johnny Cakes, otherwise known as bush scones. You may like to join a helicopter flight over the Southern Lost City where you will have a unique bird’s-eye view over the vast landscape (own expense).
Enhance Your Journey Take a heli flight over Lorella Springs’ unique landscape, including a sweep over the remote Southern Lost City and its series of large sandstone outcrops that appear as though they are remains of an ancient civilisation.
Wake up bright and early for what is sure to be a memorable day. Join a scenic drive to the coast where you will find a 25-kilometre stretch of unspoilt beach. Here you will enjoy a packed picnic lunch as well as plenty of time for a leisurely beach stroll or exploration. Return to your camp this afternoon and join your fellow travellers for dinner this evening.
There’s nothing like starting the morning with a stunning nature walk through spellbinding landscapes, and that is exactly what you can expect from a guided walk to Nanny’s Retreat. Join your guide for a scenic walk through several of the park's trails and perhaps go for a dip in one of the waterholes or thermal springs. This evening, toast to sunset drinks before a memorable Bush BBQ for dinner.
