Sit back and relax as your train traverses ever-changing landscapes en route to Longreach. Enhance Your Journey Sail down the Thomson River aboard the M.V. Longreach Explorer and watch as the colours of the Outback transform at sunset. Hit the road this morning for Toogunna Plains, stopping en route in the red-dirt outback town of Windorah for lunch. Continue to Toogunna Plains, a fourth-generation family-owned sheep and cattle property doubling up as a farm stay. After you check in to your accommodation, enjoy sunset canapes overlooking the rolling, red Kyra Sandhills before savouring a delicious Paddock-to-Plate dinner in your farm stay’s garden.
