Our Story

We’re Inside Australia Travel, a (pretty nice) team of local travel specialists based in Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast. We know this country like the back of our hand, from the red dirt tracks to the coastal drives, and every town in between.

Our Home Base

We started as a small team of travellers on the Sunshine Coast with one goal, to share the Australia we know and love with the world. What began as a local office with a few travel specialists, and one too many tacky fridge magnets has grown into one of Australia’s most trusted travel agencies. We’re part of the Fine Tours Group, one of New Zealand’s leading travel companies. Together with Pure Journeys (our luxury Australia & New Zealand brand) and Ozsidekick (our B2B platform), we help travellers and partners see Australia properly, not just the highlights, but the heart of it.

Our People

Our team is made up of locals who genuinely love what they do. Between us, we’ve crossed the country by rail, road, and river, from the Kimberley to the Great Ocean Road. We know which lodge pours a great wine on arrival, which room has the best view, and where to find a proper flat white before the drive begins. We’re proud members of Visit Sunshine Coast and the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC), and we were recognised as an ATEC Buyer of the Year Finalist, a small but meaningful nod to the care we bring to every trip.

Our team members have travelled extensively throughout Australia and have first-hand experience with a wide range of destinations.
